Camping, caravanning and accommodation

Make the most of your visit to the Naracoorte area and spend a few days staying with us in a natural setting at our Wirreanda accommodation, campground and caravan park. There’s plenty to see and do, with scenic walking trails, beautiful native plants and unique Australian animals all within easy access. And let’s not forget unique World Heritage caves to explore, and half a million years of history to absorb!

Accommodation

Wirreanda Bunkhouse has dormitory-style accommodation for 49 people. With a fully equipped kitchen and eating area it is perfect for schools, research and other groups. The rooms sleep four, six or eight people. Showers and toilets are separate from the other buildings and are wheelchair accessible.

There is a campfire pit which can be used for the serious purpose of marshmallow toasting, but only outside bushfire danger season (November – April). Make sure to bring your own wood, it is illegal to gather firewood in the park.

During school holidays and on weekends, individual dorm rooms in the bunkhouse can be booked by family groups (subject to availability).

The camp kitchen is equipped with a ceiling mounted projector and screen that can be used in conjunction with any HDMI capable device. Please note devices and an internet connection are not provided.

Camping, Caravans and Motor homes

Our camping area is suitable for tents, camper trailers, caravans, motor homes and camper vans. There are ten powered sites and a large grassed area for tents, surrounded by tall shady trees. Access to a tennis court is available for those who choose to have a game or two and grassy area for the kids provides an area to run around and play ball games.

A shared amenity block provides hot showers and toilets with disabled access. A free barbecue is also available. Visitors to the park may also use the communal campfire pit outside of bushfire danger season (usually November to April see conditions below).
